The Empty Page have released a fun new video for their newest and third single of 2019, “You’re Tame”. The song, much like their previous releases, pulls heavily from the 1990’s punk rock influenced alternative/garage rock sound. The song is catchy with a great guitar hook. It’s upbeat tempo is easy to tap along to and the verse is highlighted by an awesome bass line. The band has accurately been compared to the sound of The Pixies and Bikini Kill. Along with “He’s Very Good At Swimming”, “You’re Tame” is available as a 7″ splatter vinyl via the bands Bandcamp page, which is destined for a picnic turntable in a room with walls covered in band posters. The video for “You’re Tame” is also a callback to 90’s alternative rock with its gritty VHS filter and psychedelic green screen filled with a kaleidoscope of rescue kittens. The kittens in the video are from Rescue Kitties Manchester, an organization that rescues, fosters and provides medical care for hundreds of stray and abandoned cats throughout the year, funded using only donations.
“You’re Tame” is available on Spotify, as well as other singles and the 2016 album “Unfolding”.
